Progress Update: July 2nd

(DJ piecing together a new engine room bulkhead)

Lots of progress the last couple weeks! DJ finished tearing out the rotted bulkhead in the engine room, removed more rusted and outdated plumbing and built and installed a new bulkhead.

Eric finished building out the closet in the utility room in preparation for the A/C units. He also finished the last part of the upper wood deck and re-plumbed some troublesome drains.
Mary primed the bulkhead wall sections for the engine room and removed 3/4 of the old framework from the overhead in the main salon. The remaining framework will be removed when better access is gained in the future.
Mag & DJ did some tearing out in the head and shower of the captains cabin.

  1. Wow you are all doing great work! I'm sure it's tiring, but I'm praying for all of you and the mission, as I know many others are. It looks good!

  2. Y'all are doing great work! Love watching the progress! Hard to believe it looks this good when I think back to what it looked like when it was a burnt out mess down below. Pace yourselves, esp. in this heat (this is your mother talking...LOL).
