Progress Update: June 6th

Work continues on the upper fly bridge teak deck. There were many spots that didn't have screws and caused deck leaks. The rain keeps slowing us down but we are still making progress. 

We are also beginning the plumbing system rebuild. DJ is currently putting together a parts list for the first section.

 

Drilling new screw holes into the aluminum 

underneath the teak decking.

Replacing teak plugs over the fasteners.

Chiseling plugs flush to the deck.

 

 

 Recaulking areas where old caulking has

 failed and is leaking through.

 Sanding, sanding, sanding.

Slicing off caulking with a very sharp

chisel before sanding, where wood has worn down.
