Progress Update: October 27th

(Eric restoring damaged dresser top)

Lots of great progress the last two weeks! The second guest cabin is 95% completed. The closet behind the door still needs some plumbing removal, a false back and new floor, shelving and final coat of paint.
There is now lighting in both cabins, the hallway and utility room. Lights for the shop and the head will hopefully be installed the end of November.
More plumbing progress has been made for the water heaters and the goal is to possibly have the guest head, shower and sink plumbed by the end of November as well.
There are two 750 gallon water tanks built into the ship. One aft and one forward. DJ removed the cover plates and they will be drained, coarse sanded and painted. This particular work on the water tanks will take some time as it is a difficult and rather nasty job.

Running wire overhead in the shop
in order to install lighting in the anchor locker.

The wiring for each light is along the overhead in order to provide access. Eric is building wooden trim to cover each one.

Plumbing parts hand-sanded and waiting for assembly.

DJ working out plumbing re-routes in a very nasty place in the bilge.

  1. Thanks for the photos! You're all doing a lot of good work, there. Between the three of you, things have come a VERY long way from the burned out hull of a ship with which you started, that's for sure. I know a lot is yet to do, but look back and see how far you've come. Hard working folks, all of you! God bless your diligence and hard work! :)
